Hello! I'm the founder of Kaner Cabinets and a graduate of the Heritage Carpentry and Millwork program at Algonquin College since 2008. My journey in the construction industry began in Ottawa, where I honed my skills as a carpenter for nearly a decade. 2017, I embarked on a new adventure, starting Kaner Contracting, which we incorporated a year later. Our dedication to excellence led us to become a registered Tarion home builder by 2020 and achieve Net Zero certification in 2021. With over 20 years of experience, I've dedicated my career to helping homeowners create their dream living spaces.
Theron Wachter
2004-2008: Apprenticed at Harpstone Kitchens, where I honed my skills in crafting custom boxes and solid wood doors from raw materials.
2008-2015: Worked at Heritage Kitchens, handling shop tasks, installing kitchens, and customizing pre-ordered boxes.
2015-2018: Joined Cedar Ridge Design, specializing in precise installations, primarily in commercial settings.
2018-2020: Founded Right Angle Millwork, my personal business, focusing on installations and bespoke woodworking.
2020 to present: Collaborating with Kaner Contracting / Kaner Cabinets, I manage the cabinet division and oversee our shop operations.
